The Cobequid Fun Tones

        Harmony Incorporated (of which we are a member), an organization of women who sing in the barbershop style, was founded in 1959. The organization is based on democratic principles, and is dedicated to preserving the barbershop style of music and educating its members, women of all ages, in the art of its performance.

        Contests and conventions are held each year for the purpose of educating members in the performance of the craft, bringing together the membership to see the best perform, and to encourage an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie and to inform the membership of the status and direction of the organization.

        The Cobequid Fun-Tones meet each Tuesday, beginning in September 2002, in the Oxford Pioneer Heritage Hall on Ellis Street, Oxford. If you like to sing harmony, we would be delighted to have you join with us in harmony. Call any Fun-Tone Member for information.
